Our Networks
Be found in local search and by local searchers. Our networks are free for all SMBs ….. and always will be.
Our Networks
Leveling the playing field for SMBs
ICBIG builds and manages directories and networks for a range of industries. Although they began as plain directories, our networks have grown into solid places for both searchers and member businesses to find information, recommendations, and interesting blogs and articles.
Our networks give SMBs a level of local reach and SEO strength they’d struggle to achieve alone. And since removing all of the tiers, registrations and updates have surged — making every network more accurate, more active, and more valuable for both users and members alike.
Creating places to find and be found… without the “sponsored results” sigh.
Directories that people actually want to use
Find your business network
Each directory is run by people who actually have worked, or been involved, in that sector.
When you’re ready to list your business, this is where you choose the network that fits what you do. Each directory focuses on a specific sector, so you can pick the one that matches your work and get listed in the place people naturally look for it.
The Flagships
UK Garage Directory
www.garagedirectory.co.uk
The UK Garage Directory was started simply to help people find local garages. It grew a little — then a lot — and now it’s the most comprehensive garage directory in the UK. All listings are free, though you do need to reaffirm your listing every six months. It’s a straightforward tool for car owners and garages alike. If your garage isn’t on the directory, click below and make it happen. We’re rolling out mobile mechanics and home mechanics as well.
Livery Yards UK
www.liveryyards.com
LiveryYards.com is one of our oldest directories. It started back in 2006, built by the wife of the owner of ICBIG. She has a true passion for horses and was struggling to find a yard locally when they moved to a new town. When she complained about the lack of places to find them, he said “so build one” — and she did. Now it’s the only directory with free listings of its kind and has over 500 yards nationwide. Recently, we removed the tiers and yards are joining faster than we can add them. So get your yard listed and match with the right liveries in your area, plus access a set of free handy tools and templates.
Immigration Directory
www.immigrationdirectory.co.uk
We’ve been working with immigration agencies for almost 20 years. Most of the firms we work with are small businesses (or at least were when we started with them). We built Immigration Directory out of a need to help our clients compete in both local and international search. Now the directory works well for both agency and user, giving each the information and connections needed to help people move to a new country.

Passion Projects
Dog For Life
www.dogforlife.co.uk
We all love dogs in this office; the owner grew up with two or three in the house at any time, thanks to a mum who bred them and ran obedience schools, so calling him a “dog person” would be an understatement. DogForLife is our way of building a proper dog‑centred directory — walkers, sitters, dog‑friendly hotels, cafés and everything in between — and if you provide services for dog owners, you’ll want to be on this one.
Canterbury Local
www.canterburylocal.co.uk
Being based in Canterbury, we felt it only right to support the small businesses close to us and give local people a simple way to find local services cleanly and easily. Canterbury Local will be the place to get everything local to Canterbury — exactly as the name suggests.
The Great British Directory
www.thegreatbritishdirectory.co.uk
OK, this one started as a reaction — someone said we couldn’t, so we did. This is being built to become the greatest SMB directory for local people to find local services, and one actually focused on the user rather than the data. Every business we have is automatically added, so check, find, claim or register. It’s for every brick‑and‑mortar small business in the UK.
The Maine Local
www.themainelocal.com
The Maine Local focuses on real, local places — the shops, trades and services that keep a community running — and makes them easy for anyone to discover, check and connect with. Built for the people who live here, because Mainers should be able to find Maine businesses without the fuss.
Medical Practices UK
www.medicalpractices.co.uk
Started because finding GP information locally is far too dependent on Google. A simpler, cleaner way was needed — one that allows anyone looking for a GP to quickly find the local practices they need. Medical Practices UK is being built to make that search effortless and straightforward.
Legal Practices UK
www.legalpractices.co.uk
Because finding the right lawyer shouldn’t need a legal degree. A simpler, cleaner way was needed — one that allows anyone looking for legal help to quickly find the local practices they need. Legal Practices UK is being built to bring a bit of clarity to a world that usually hides behind jargon and complexity.
Wellness Directory UK
www.wellnessdirectory.uk
Created to bring together the everyday wellbeing services people look for but rarely find in one place — from local therapists and counsellors to fitness, nutrition and wider wellness support. It’s a calm, straightforward directory that helps people discover what’s available around them, giving local wellness providers a clear place to be seen and a simple way for anyone to connect.
Care Homes Directory
www.carehomesdirectory.co.uk
The Care Home Directory is being built to give people a clear, dependable way to find local care homes without the usual confusion or clutter. It brings every registered home into one place, making it easier for families to see what’s nearby, what’s available, and what feels right for them. A straightforward, local-first directory designed to help people make confident choices about care.
Independent Care Homes (ICH)
www.independentcarehomes.co.uk
ICH is a direct result of what we’ve seen happening with our clients — large, corporate chains swallowing up or squeezing out the true independents. The homes that actually give meaning to the word care in care homes deserve their own space. Run in tandem with the Care Home Directory, any independent care home registered on ICH will automatically appear on CHD.
Vineyards of Tuscany
www.vineyardsoftuscany.com
Part of our Tuscan Collection, this directory brings together the vineyards that define the region — from small boutique estates to long‑standing family growers. It’s a straightforward place to explore Tuscany’s winemaking landscape, with details on independent producers and opportunities to join tasting weeks, gastro trips and review visits. Most people won’t be registering as members here, but if you love wine — especially Tuscan — you can register as a user for competitions, trips and tasting weeks.
English Speaking Italy
www.englishspeakingitaly.com
Built to help new arrivals, villa owners and anyone moving to Italy from English‑speaking countries find local businesses with an English speaker on the team. It’s a straightforward directory designed to make life easier — connecting people to reliable services, trades and resources without the language barrier.
Kids in Tuscany
www.kidsintuscany.com
Being created to help families travelling to Tuscany find places that actually work with children — from early‑opening, family‑friendly restaurants to local free playgrounds and activities that keep kids interested. It’s a directory with loads of practical info designed to make exploring Tuscany easier for parents and more fun for their kids.
Visiting Guides
Travel done right, the ICBIG way
Our Visiting directories will give people a clear, local view of each destination. They will bring together places to stay, places to visit, photo spots, restaurants, out‑of‑the‑way finds, and the practical information that helps you understand an area before you arrive. Each guide is built from lived experience and simple, useful detail — the kind of knowledge that makes planning easier and helps visitors get a feel for the place rather than just the headlines.
Our Visiting Guides group of networks is being rolled out in phases starting early 2027. So visit the directory where your business is, and register today for free. If you are a user, register today on ANY Visiting Guide network, and your account can be used on EVERY visiting guide network. Which is pretty cool.
Visiting New Zealand
www.visitingnewzealand.nz
New Zealand gives you huge scenery — glaciers, fjords, volcanoes, dark‑sky reserves — alongside quiet towns, wildlife, and some of the best hiking anywhere. It’s also a place where adventure, Māori culture, great wine, and warm, easy hospitality all mix flawlessly.
Visiting Tuscany
www.visiting-tuscany.com
Tuscany is all about long views, Renaissance cities, and old hill towns — Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca — wrapped in vineyards, cypress trees, and slow countryside. It’s a place where food, wine, hot springs, coastal days, and easy walking or cycling all sit within reach, giving the region its calm, lived‑in charm.
Visiting Lucca
www.visitinglucca.com
Lucca has a calm, walkable charm — tree‑lined walls, medieval towers, oval piazzas, quiet churches, and small streets that feel good to explore at your own pace. It’s a place where food, music, gardens, festivals, and everyday Italian life all sit close together, giving the city its easy, lived‑in warmth.
Visiting Kent
www.visitingkent.co.uk
Kent gives you a mix of coastline, chalk cliffs, cathedral cities, orchards, vineyards, and some of England’s most recognisable castles all within easy reach of each other. It’s a place where seafood towns, creative coastal spots, literary history, and long countryside walks create that classic “Garden of England” feel.
Visiting Canterbury
www.visitingcanterbury.co.uk
Canterbury blends cathedral history, medieval gateways, Roman layers, riverside gardens, and a compact centre that’s easy to explore on foot. It’s a place where punting, theatres, independent shops, old pubs, and quiet green spaces all sit close together, giving the city its calm, historic character.
The Shotokan Directory
www.shotokandirectory.com
The Shotokan Directory is a passion project of the owner of ICBIG (and a few of the staff now). He loves karate and training, and because of travel and work he often needed to find local dojos. This was difficult back in the day, so he thought, “Fine, I’ll build it.” He stuck to Shotokan rather than all styles, because that’s what he needed — and in his words, “there are hundreds of different Shotokans in the world, so I’ll stick to that as the style,” let alone every other style and all their variations. So he kept it simple. Shotokan Directory started small, but now has over 1,000 listings and growing. It’s definitely helped him find places to train.
MTB Tripping
www.mtbtripping.com
Being created as a genuine passion piece from the owner, who loves MTB’ing and holidaying with his son and family. It’s built to help riders find places to stay that actually support mountain biking — hotels and holiday homes with repair stations, secure storage or even bike racks for cars, combined with nearby trails worth exploring. The directory brings all of this together, giving mountain bikers a simple way to plan trips… and, in his case, a very good excuse to go riding in some incredible locations with his son and family. It’s one of those projects that grows simply because he loves the travel as much as the riding.
Create Something Amazing and Useful!
We build directories and networks with other people. As an SMB, we can’t cover all the content needed to make every directory genuinely useful, so we keep our own list small. The tech behind them is the virtually the same — a network is a network. This means we can build as many as we need. The people who create with us bring the other side: the passion for the market, the information, the listings and the lived knowledge. We can even organise monetisation so the directory starts earning from day one.
We’re open to new ideas, but we’re selective. We’ll look at every concept, give honest feedback, and if it works for both sides, we’ll get you in for a chat and move quickly.
So, fill in the simple Create With Us form and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can.
